Children 23 months & Younger
Children 23 months and younger are cared for in our infant/toddler program. Here, we work to develop strong bonds with them so they feel safe and secure. This program is driven by the immediate needs of the child.
Infant and toddler schedules are determined based on individual development, need, and temperament. Diapering and feeding is done as needed. Children sleep as needed.
Children are fed on demand while we work towards developing a routine.
Infants and toddlers are comforted throughout the day with cuddles, smiles, and laughs.
Infants work towards thirty minutes of tummy time each day to strengthen their necks and upper body. Toddlers work on their gross motor skills.
Children nap as needed in a calm and peaceful environment. Every child has his/her own crib or cot and we place infants on their backs to sleep with no hazardous objects (blankets or toys). We encourage parents to provide sleep sacks to keep babies warm without the use of blankets when in cribs, and they can use a blanket when they are over twelve months and in a cot.
Little Muslims implements both our proprietary curriculum alongside the Frog Street Infant and toddler curriculum, designed around the latest early brain development research. Frog Street is designed to build strong foundations by incorporating actives that equip caregivers to nurture the little ones in their care, optimize key windows of opportunity for growth and development, are designed around developmental learning domains, and feature strategies to enhance social and emotional development.
Daily activities are designed to help your child develop and meet milestones. Every day your child will be participating in activities that help their development of language, cognitive, physical, and social/emotional milestones.
